Liberal Paranoia

It looks like Joel finally figured out that I adopted him as my liberal blogger. I guess that's a good thing, because he'll be reading this blog regularly, and perhaps our readers will be clicking over to read his blog too. So all in all, it washes out.

But in his blog, he suggested that I did this over paranoia:
These are paranoids who must sling mud and keep enemies lists at every opportunity, particularly when confronted by people who won't just go along with their manufactured facts and whines.
Has nothing to do with paranoia on my part. Trust me when I say that Joel will now be checking this blog regularly to find out what I have to say about his writings. So who is really the one with paranoia?

But in all honesty, I don't think it's really about paranoia, as it is the spirit of debate, and having fun offering up some counterpoint.

  • It's fun for a short while, but you finally realise you are wasting your precious time; and supporting his blog.

  • I find it interesting that he accuses the conservative side of mudslinging. Let's see ...

    1. "The President is a loser"
    2. "Tom DeLay should go back to Texas to serve his prison sentence"
    3. "These judicial nominees are neanderthals".

All these remarks made by Liberals. Sen Kennedy, Sen Reid, and our favorite of all -- the Chairman of the Democratic Party -- Mr. Dean.

I challenge anyone to find similar remarks made by conservatives in a position of power. Forget Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, and Sean Hannity -- identify one elected, nationally known conservative who's using this kind of rhetoric right now.

The liberals don't get it - and as long as they don't, we'll keep winning elections. They are bankrupt of ideas -- completely. When you have a point, you make it. When you don't -- you pound the table. They've chosen the latter course because the former is not a valid option for them.

  • He really said, "These judicial nominees are neanderthals?"

That is so condescending. That is not cool.
